![]() ![]() Back to the actual topic of this excellent program!) -) When will they realize that not only would it attract more viewers - and we all know viewers attract advertisers - but it would actually INCREASE their profits if they would choose to finally get rid of the restrictions that do not allow for international streaming and viewing of TV shows no matter what country they are produced/released in? Ok. (It still saddens me that so many excellent films and TV series - many of which far surpass the quality of most of what gets aired on US TV - would likely never see the light of day where I live EXCEPT for the Internet. I tend to collect DVDs that are only available in other Region formats. ![]() ![]() If nothing else, i now have a one year free version of HD and life time updates for the DVD version.) (I went ahead and purchased the DVD version today. I've been working with both the HD and the DVD versions. "Seems to have" is the operative phrase here. Please note, folks, that this program is not only for Video file conversion. Check out the comments over here for more information and some responses form the Vendor regarding the DVD version. I don't need the ripping of protected DVDs, but I'm still trying to determine what, if any, real differences thee are in the heart of each program. I am going to pick up one or the other versions today for the excellent pricing and Life-Time Upgrades. I am taking some old videos with poor quality and running them through HD Video Pro versions using the sharpen effect with very good results. This time element appears, so far, to be consistent with either program. Straight forward conversions with both programs are very fast, but if I make any edits to a video clip this adds to the time, which of course would make sense. This is with all settings the same for each program. Some clips end up with a smaller size using the DVD version and some do so using the HD version. I am finding speed variations and size variations when I convert the same file using each program. On the surface it appears that there is only one main difference. I am finding other differences as I experiment with the full free version given here and he trial version of the DVD version.
